Charter
The Bay Area Chinese Bible Church has established Chinese Christian Schools as an integral, inseparable ministry to advance its educational and evangelistic mission.
As an educational ministry, Chinese Christian Schools teaches and trains students in the knowledge of God, beginning with salvation through Jesus Christ. Through Bible-based, Christ-centered instruction, knowledge leads to wisdom, Christ-like character, and service to God in every field of study and every personal endeavor.
As an evangelistic ministry, Chinese Christian Schools has its own ecclesiastical body as the primary focus, extending its influence into the Chinese community, and then to the outermost regions of the world. The school seeks to lead people to a saving knowledge of Christ and raise up disciples who will help advance Christ's ministry on earth, thus fulfilling the Great Commission.
The success of the school is to be measured by changed lives for the glory of God. The goal of the school is that all come to accept Christ as Savior, and that each individual be thoroughly equipped spiritually, academically, and physically to fulfill God's perfect plan for his life.

Christian Philosophy of Education
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." Ecclesiastes 12:13
True education is a search for ultimate truth, and begins with an understanding that God is the Creator and central unifying figure of all that exists. Col. 1:16-18. God Himself is the ultimate reality, and everything in the universe revolves around the person of God. Because God is also personal, every individual has a duty to know Him and to carry out His Will for his life. Eccl 12:13. Education prepares a person to fulfill this responsibility to God. John 17:3
The knowledge of God begins with salvation through Jesus Christ, is built upon the study of the Holy Scriptures, and leads to a reverential trust in God, the basis of wisdom. Psa 111:10. Wisdom transforms abstract knowledge into personal belief revealed through Christian character and service. James 1:22. Thus, true education naturally produces students of spiritual strength and distinction, governed by godly principles in every field of study and in all areas of life.
As a student's knowledge in any field or discipline increases, he more readily sees how God is revealed through that subject and how God is to be served in that area. II Tim 2:15. Through this process, students are equipped to become faithful servants of God, good citizens of society, and godly leaders at home. II Tim. 3:16-17
The responsibility for education lies first, and foremost, with the individual, who must give personal account before God. Rom. 14:11-12. Parents and the church are also given the responsibility for educating their young. Pro. 22:6. The Christian school serves as a ministry to assist students, parents, and the church in carrying out the universal responsibility of knowing God more, and serving Him better.
