Accreditation

Chinese Christian Schools is fully accredited in grades K-12 through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). In 2001, the school received a 6-year term of accreditation from both organizations, the maximum length. In 2007, the school applied for renewal and was visited in February. The Visiting Committee issued a report that included 50 commendations. Final decision on the schools' accreditation will be issued in May/June of 2007.

As part of the accreditation process, the school developed an Action Plan outlining the major initiatives the school will pursue in the coming years. This Action Plan will be updated and renewed annually.

In addition to being an accredited school, Chinese Christian Schools is involved in the accreditation process in other ways. Mr. Robin Hom, Superintendent, serves on the ACSI Accreditation Commission. School administrators regularly serve as visiting chairpersons and team members at other public and private schools for both ACSI and WASC.
